People Are
Just Stars
.
I remember getting my first pimple when I was eleven. As I looked in the mirror, inspecting this new addition to my face, I felt kind of proud of having it. Welcoming it even. This was the first and last time
I felt that way about my acne.
Years of insecurity and struggle followed and being surrounded by clear faces just made me feel lonely. Recently, a friend of mine turned this all upside-down. She told me pimples reminded her of stars and galaxies. Being at a low at that time, I didn't really believe her. I had to see it for myself. What better way to see it for yourself than to make it for yourself right?
